Last Weekend’s Predictions: Close But No Cigar

Here’s how I did with last weekend’s predictions.

Man Utd vs Chelsea
Prediction: 2-1
Score: 3-0
Correct result, correct number of goals, but I thought it would be a lot tighter. So did Phil Scolari, probably.

Roma vs Milan
Prediction: 1-1 and Beckham coming off the bench.
Score: 2-2 and Beckham started.
Correct result, incorrect score. And Beckham playing 89 (or 90 if you include first half stoppage time) surprised us all.

Bordeaux vs PSG
Predition: 2-0 to Bordeaux
Score: 4-0, and a magical goal from Yohan Gourcuff.
I didn’t see PSG taking that much of a pounding.
