Offshore Oscar’s results for September 20-21, 2008
By: Offshore Oscar | September 22nd, 2008
Considering all the excitement involved, a very small net loss for the weekend is not the worst thing that could happen. It barely matters anyway since I’ve somehow been selected to help with a complicated banking transaction out of Nigeria that stands to make me a very rich man. How did I get so lucky, you ask? I’m still trying to figure that part out myself.
The week’s Offshore Oscar results:
1 – Sunderland came through just as hoped with a decisive 2-0 win, but it was Chopra rather than Cisse who got the brace.
Bet: 40
Collect: 92
2 – Berlin got their road win 1-0 against Monchengladbach, but Cologne got skunked 2-0 as tourists against Arminia Bielefeld, once again showing how heartbreaking parlays can be.
Bet: 20
Collect: 0
3 – The Serie A had exactly one scoreless draw on Sunday, and I walked right into it as Udinese couldn’t get on the board even with a man-advantage late in the game.
Bet: 40
Collect: 0
Starting bankroll for the week: 1143.9 units
Win/loss for the week: -8 units
New bankroll: 1135.9 units
