Offshore Oscar’s results for September 6, 2008

We had a good betting weekend and the timing is perfect as this almost makes up for the money I recently lost to Amy Winehouse in a Jack Daniels chug-a-lug contest. (Note to Amy: The first two bottles were impressive enough, but that third bottle felt like unnecessary showboating. You are better than that.)

1 – Macedonia scored early and managed to hang on against Scotland, just as we’d hoped.

2 – Montenegro and Bulgaria ding-donged their way to a 2-2 tie, and all was right with the world.

3 – Denmark has plenty of talent, but they looked pretty lifeless against Hungary, and were lucky to come away with a scoreless draw.
