Offshore Oscar’s picks for October 21 and 22, 2008
By: Offshore Oscar | October 21st, 2008
I’m back in Amsterdam after my Ireland debacle, and I’ve really become addicted to the coffee here, or at least the coffee shops. I spent an hour in one of them yesterday but it turned out to be 9 hours as I somehow lost track of time.
Original bankroll: 1,000 units
Current bankroll: 1,077 units
Offshore Oscar’s plays for October 21 and, 2008
1 – Bayern Munich squeaked out a win at feisty Karlsruhe on Saturday to break a three-game winless streak in the Bundesliga. Luca Toni and Frank Ribery didn’t play the whole match and they should be rested for the visiting Viola.
40 units on Bayern to win at 1.80 (so a victory gets us back 72 units)
2 – It’s now or never for both PSV and Marseille in group D. Perhaps PSV was looking ahead over the weekend to this match when they lost at NAC Breda. It’s even on paper, we’ll give the slight edge to the home squad.
30 units on PSV Eindhoven to win at 2.40 (so a win gets us back 72 units)
