Offshore Oscar’s results for November 4 and 5

Good news and bad news: The bad news is I lost both my crazy midweek bets, but the good news is I’ve recently discovered some paper towels that are 25% more absorbent than the leading brand, so it’s kind of a wash for me at this point.
1 – Longshot Shakhtar hung in there for most of the game, but ended up losing 1-0 to Sporting Lisbon on a late goal, and Dynamo Kiev lost the following day anyway, so this wasn’t even close.

Collect: 0
2 – Playing draws is always tricky, and Juventus went up by a goal in the 17th minute and iced it with an insurance goal in the second half, so this one went down in flames as well. Back to the drawing board.
