Mega Football Pikum is Coming
By: Daryl | October 24th, 2008The people at Pikum are making some changes. Following the beta launch they’ve listened to feedback and are going offer something a bit different. So in the very near future, get ready for Mega Football Pikum, which will also be appearing on The Offside.
What’s a Mega Football Pikum you ask?
Read on and all will be explained.
The Mega Football Pikum will basically be a big football coupon of upcoming matches, where you pick a winner (or pick a draw) for each match. You’re awarded points for correct picks, and points win prizes.
Sounds a lot like the Football Pools, right? Well it is, but with a twist:
In addition to picking a winner, you also make a more fun pick. For example total number of fouls or total number of shots on target. Correct picks here are also part of your points total.
Prizes and benefits for the Mega Football Pikum will be:
· A £1,000,000 jackpot
· Guaranteed £1,000 prize pool that must be won every week
· Free first-time entry or £10 Deposit Bonus for all new players
· Private Leagues between you and your mates, or exclusively for users of your site
· Pikum sponsored prizes for private leagues with enough people with them
· Weekly Rankings where you’ll be ranked against others by your weekly points totals
