My plan to get back at Tottenham for screwing me out of that big London parlay last week did not go as hoped, but the reliable Spaniards more than made up for it so the weekend was a success anyway.
1 – The price on Liverpool looked almost too good to be true against previously hapless Tottenham, but nobody got around to telling the Spurs that they were supposed to bow down. Bastards! Who forgot that part? Must I do everything myself?

2 – On the other hand, Villareal and Sporting Gijon both totally lived up to their billing as solid favorites, winning 4-1 and 3-1 respectively.
