Offshore Oscar’s results from September 28, 2008
By: Offshore Oscar | September 29th, 2008
I missed the Ajax game in Amsterdam, and it turns out my hope of being called in as a striker out of the stands in a surprise halftime move wasn’t needed anyway, as the favored home side prevailed 3-0 even without me on the pitch. I’ll still suit up when I go to games just in case, but it’s nice to know I don’t always have to.
Results for Sunday, September 28
1 – Dan Haag and Utrecht played to another scoreless draw, which seems like the 1,000th week in a row that one of my key games never got out of the scoring blocks. As mentioned, Ajax came through at a short price, but all for naught.

2 – Wigan were helped by a controversial penalty, but still Man City looked flat and the Big 4 turning into the Big 5 is still on hold for now.
