Scotland – Macedonia WC qualifiers
By: blackjack | September 5th, 2008There has been some movement on the Macedonia v Scotland odds. Adjustments are being made to book positions to reflect action coming straight in on Scotland win. However “totals” and “under/over” hasn’t changed. This should be watched as we close in on match time as it could provide opportunity to straddle a position.
Macedonia 7/4
Draw 11/5
Scotland 11/8
0 – 1 goals 7/4
2 – 3 goals 10/11
4 + goals 16/5
Under 2.5 goals 8/13
Over 2.5 goals 6/5
Scotland’s concerns are its injuries with Callum Davidson, Barry Ferguson,Alan Hutton, David Marshall, Kevin McNaughton, Garry O’Connor, Kevin Thomson and David Weir are all out. Macedonia is injury free. Macedonia’s productive striking combination of Tom Tomsk’s Goran Maznov and Lazio’s Goran Pandev are healthy. Weather conditions are expected to play a factor with Skopje, Macedonia with pitch temperature 38+ Celcius on the pitch.
Updates to follow if we have further movement in the position or for have this in play.

Macedonia over Scotland 1-0. Very typical with the Under being the easy pay-out.

Ian – dropping 3 in Macedonia makes the 17 point goal very difficult. Burley needs Macedonia / Iceland to hold Norway and Netherlands to draws.
Macedon – unaware of how to change but no worries, we know now. Great victory for your homeland.
