Offshore Oscar’s picks for November 21, 22, and 23
By: Offshore Oscar | November 20th, 2008
Okay, so posting a photo of a ridiculously hot girl didn’t bring me any luck, and I lost both bets and am now back exactly where I started. For this weekend’s plays I went back to fundamentals, namely a set of voodoo dolls that look like some of the players, that I will be poking at key moments during the games. If this somehow fails, it’s back to hot-chick photos.
Original bankroll: 1,000 units
Current bankroll: 1,000 units
This weekend’s Offshore Oscar plays:
1 – The San Siro will be rocking this Saturday night when third place Juventus visits first place Inter. Both teams are in good form, especially reborn Juve striker Alex Del Piero. But I think Inter coach Jose Mourinho will have his defense ready and Inter will pull out a tight one-goal vicory.
40 units on Inter Milan to win at 2.00. (so a victory gets us back 80 units)
2 – Even though Althletico Madrid might be looking ahead to PSV on Wednesday, they should be able to get an easy three points in Numancia on Sunday.
40 units on Athletico to win at 2.00. (so a victory gets us back another 80 units)
3 – BUNDESLIGA three team SPECIAL. Borrusia Dortmund is still hoping for a European slot, Bayer Leverkusen wants to keep a hold of first place and Hamburg are tough at home.
20-unit parlay – Dortmund at 2.25 into Bayer Leverkusen at 1.66 into Hamburg at 2.37 (so when they all inevitably win we’ll get back 20 x 2.25 x 1.66 x 2.37 = 177 units)
