Offshore Oscar’s picks for October 25 and 26, 2008
By: Offshore Oscar | October 24th, 2008
Amsterdam seems the place to be as both my midweek Champion’s League plays came through decisively. There’s something about this place I like. They have what they call “smart shops” here, and I think they are working for me.
Original bankroll: 1,000 units
Current bankroll: 1,121 units
Offshore Oscar’s plays for October 25 & 26, 2008
1 – Portsmouth had a tough go of it midweek in Portugal in the UEFA cup. Look for Crouch and Defoe to exploit the Fulham defense at Fratton Park.
40 units on Portsmouth to win at 1.83 (so a win gets us back 73.2 units)
2 – Hull have been on cloud 9, encroaching on the Big Four’s slots in the table, the Baggies will be looking to bring them down a peg. Blackburn should be able to put up a 2-0 win at home versus Boro.
20-unit two-team win parlay West Brom at 2.15 into Blackburn at 2.05 (so if both our sides win we get back 20 x 2.15 x 2.05 = 88.15 units)
3 – Ronaldinho got his feet wet with 15 minutes of playing time in the UEFA cup, he’s going to be fresh and fit when Milan travels to Bergamo.
40 units on AC Milan to win at 1.83 (so a win gets us back 73.2 units)
